Day 26

 

 

Today, ask Spirit to show you what God is doing at that moment in time, or what He is doing among co-workers, or the neighbor kids that hang at your home. Anyone you come in contact with, pick a person and ask God, "What are You doing that I can co labor with in so and so's life." Look for the ripple effect it has on others you come in contact with. The future may be blurred, but look anyway, just as in the picture above. Think of the movement as the Spirits movement and move with that. His movement causes a ripple effect in the spiritual atmosphere and if you can move with that effect you will be moving with Him and what He is doing. Enjoy!



 

 

 



Day 27

Whatever is coming against you today, ask yourself, "What do I need to learn and grow from this to come out the other-side."  One thing to learn in difficult times is the sovereignty of God, and in these times allow it to mold you and bring out the hidden gem inside you.
God uses hardships in our lives to mold and make us into the man or women of purpose He has called us to be. If you feel God has called you to start a business, be a preacher, hair-stylist, prophet, foot ball player, teacher, etc... Than He has also called you to a season of training and molding. Just like any sports athlete, doctor or any profession you need a time of learning before you launch out into the public arena. For some reason those who have been called to the five fold offices feel that they do not need this season. Those in the secular position's do not have the abilities to preform to their maximum potential, they have years of schooling and training No one is born with all the skills necessary to preform their best. Yes, we are born with the gift or natural abilities, but, we all need to be taken through a school. Whether we go through a university or school of the Spirit. By allowing this time in your life, you will become a better person both morally and intellectually.
I am sure the NBA players did not wake up one day, jump on the court with a basketball and know how to do it all. Most Hollywood actors did not show up in front of the camera and become the best without first spending time in theater and in some B rated shows.
So why is it people who have been called as a prophet, pastor, apostle, evangelist or teacher think that as soon as they receive the prophecy they jump into their calling? Thus making tons of mistakes that wound, and could have been preventive had they given God the time necessary.  During this time of training Holy Spirit also brings out your uniqueness. What will set you apart and make your calling or profession something through which He can change the world and bring Heaven on Earth. Just like a tree does not start out a tree, but a seed than a sapling, than it blooms and after the season of blooming comes the fruit it was meant to bear.  Allow this season in your life, it will also strengthen and deepen your relationship with Your Father. You will need His strength when those difficult times come.

28 Days of equipping

For 28 days I will be equipping you with words of wisdom. Ways to encourage and equip you to be a wiser you, help with the challenges you face everyday, and  words for you to focus on and be the person you were made to be. Let the  fire of the Holy Spirit, burn the chain's of captivity holding back your renewed life.

Today, do not be conformed  to the things of this world, be transformed by: the word of God. Renew your mind. When a situation comes up in the course of this day and a reaction is needed by you, STOP. Think, how should I respond. Try responding in the opposite way you were. If you were harshly spoken to, lied about, screamed upon, lied to or the object of guile and deceit or walked into a conversation filled with gossip. Do not be conformed to this way of living. Take this opportunity to step out of the worlds box and into the supernatural life style. Transform the situation, bring Holy Spirit into this space and time. Let Him equip and use your voice. Bind the evil intent and loose the opposite action. Let the atmosphere be transformed, a window opened and heaven come down. If you make a habit of this eventually the area will be changed and people will  be changed--transformed--renewed. Hearts released from captivity, and destinies fulfilled.

The plight of  a people group can not be altered over night. It takes time and a willingness to change and go another direction. The approach the Pine Ridge Reservation hasn't changed since they were first put on reservations in the 1800's, they are still waiting for the government to fulfill their treaties. In the mean time their families are living in below poverty levels. Nothing has changed, The mind set is still the same. Oh, there are more websites where  donations can be made to help the people, but then there is the waste from that help, and some break out and move to another place. But then they are called "apples". Red on the outside white on the inside. This phrase comes from those who view all things not done as it was in past Nativw life, and you embrace the "white" life style. There is also, if you can believe this, prejudice from those who deem Native Americans as lower than themselves.
I noticed a decline in the generations since the 1800's. The first generations that were put on reservations --not all mind you. What this article is about are those who are sitting on the reservation, who are held captive by years of captivity. Who can't seem to get out of the vicious circle that is transferred from one generation to another. Those with the mind-set that "In order for me to live a full life the government needs to fulfill all the treaties they have broken. That is the key to this whole issue, waiting on the government to make their life right or prosperous.
It isn't working. When an approach to a problem hasn't brought out the desired out-come,--in over 100 years..... than something else needs to be done.
Instead of looking at this from a human perspective I am choosing to look at this through the eyes of the Holy Spirit and Gods word. Most of the Natives go to churches planted there on Pine Ridge, most of which are Baptist and mixed with some of the Natives religious beliefs. So I am assuming they have believed in and hear the word of God, accepted Jesus into their hearts and are "born again into the family of God". With that said, why are they not reaping the benefits of being a child of God. Why are they still living in poverty of body, soul and mind?
As I read articles and news reports and also testimonies for those who spent some time on the Pine Ridge Reservation, I see a constant theme. This is what caused me to look at this situation from another perspective, because the way that is was being done hasn't brought out the change
In Gods word, He says "I came to give life and a life that is abundant" Ephesians 5:8...you were formerly in darkness, but now you are light in the Lord walk as children of light.. There are numerous scripture stating this same idea and thought from the Father.  But some of  the verses I want to look at have to deal with breaking away from our old nature and becoming a new person in Christ.
 We are to, as born again believers, walk by the spirit not by our flesh. This is how this "problem" has been dealt with, by the flesh, instead of taking a supernatural approach, or looking at it through the eyes of the spirit. Galatians 6: 7,8 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap. For the one who sows to his own flesh shall reap corruption or fleshly outcome. but the one who sows to the Spirit reap eternal life vs, 16 ..for the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh, for these are in opposition to one another...if you are lead by the Spirit walk by the spirit.
Colossians 2: 8.. see to it that..no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men according to the elementary principles of the world, rather than according to Christ......This is where I think they have been mislead. Going about this issue by the flesh and mans way of doing things instead SEEKING the Creator ,the Great Spirit.
Gods ways are not the same as mans ways, thank goodness. He is our salvation. He has a solution to this, a way out of poverty way of thinking and an abundant life, in all ways.
May your days be filled with His presence and may you walk by His Spirit and not the flesh.
