Day 8

God is still the God of Miracles

When we read the bible, we read of the great stories where God intervened and amazing miracles happened in the lives of people. Didn't matter if they served Him or not strange things happened. One is the talking donkey and the prophet Balaam. God caused the donkey Balaam was ridding to see an angel blocking the path, and when Balaam became mad because the donkey stopped moving, the donkey then starting talking. This story has always amazed me. One the donkey who could see in the spirit and talk and a prophet who didn't serve God, was concerned and only wanted to say what God wanted him to say. You can read the full story in Numbers 22.

Another miracle story is of course the crossing of the Red Sea and the Israelites crossing on dry ground. This story is in Exodus 14.

There are the two stories about the multitudes being fed when Jesus walked the earth. Feeding thousands of people from a few and fish and loaves of bread, with some left over. Even in the book of Acts there are several amazing stories of miracles happening to people.

But I would like to share of one more resent. A young man in a motorcycle accident. When a car pulled out in front of him as he was traveling down the freeway, about 70 miles an hour. He walked away from the crunched up bike! Yes he has road rash on his upper body and a few other bruises, but as he was going through the accident, he said he could feel arms going around him, protecting him!

God is still the God of miracles. This is an amazing story of how God protects us in the midst of something that could have other wise ended very tragically.

I am so thankful, that God is still the God of miracles!

Isaiah 40: 25....To whom will you liken Me, that I should be his equal? says the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high and see who has created these stars. The One who leads forth their host by number, He calls them all by name; because of the greatness of His might and the strength of His power, not one of the is missing.. Also Isaiah 46: 9.& 11.....For I am God, and there is no one like Me.....I will accomplish all My good pleasure.

He is an amazing God, and watches over us all.

Thank You Heavenly Father, for Your love and guidance. Protecting us in times of trouble and loving us unconditionally. We need You and long for the day we can meet You face to face. But until that day we thank You for the signs wonders and miracles we experience each day. amen.

DAY 9
Wisdom of knowing

God is in control or is He?

Some say God is in control of everything that goes on around this world. Even the woman who is raped or the man who is killed or the child who is stolen for sex trade. He is in-charge of all the good, bad and ugly. He controls all we do? He makes the flowers bloom and the grass grow. He is the creator of all intentions--good or evil. He makes the new born well or sick, he picks the ones who should have down syndrome and those who are healthy.

This is a very controversial issue and a lot of opinions out there.
Lets look at the Word of God and through in=since this is my article--my thoughts on this subject.

A seriers of events happened, an arch angel who served God, decided he wanted the attention God was getting and thought he was better than God, so because of his pride was thrown from Heaven. In Genesis 3 the story starts to unfold: the serpent (satan) saw Eve in the garden one day and approached her. Didn't Creator tell you, you  couldn't eat from every tree in the garden. The women said, we can eat from all but the one in the middle. Well the serpent manipulated the words and coerced the women Eve into eating of that forbidden tree and sharing it with her husband. Then the eyes of both of them were opened to seeing both good and evil. God found them, had a short conversation and the Lord cursed their life (Gen. 3:14) Pain was released in what they do, as well as toil, hardships and  sweat. One of the things said to the serpent was "I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed, He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel", in other words, warfare between the generations. Of course there is a lot more to this section of scripture but this is an over view.
God said, 'They have become like Us, knowing good and evil, which means evil existed before this event, lest he stretch out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat and live forever, they were removed from the garden forever. This was the start of the relationship between man and the serpent, The serpent, how he got into the garden in the first place, I do not know, along with Adam and Eve were removed from the garden.
They had two children. One day, the Lord said to Cain, Why are you angry?  Why has your countenance fallen, If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? If you do not do well, sin, is crouching at the door and its desire is for you, but you must master it."
Here God was telling Cain, you are in-charge of whether you sin or not. You are in charge of the good or bad that you do the choice you make, Not God, You.

The only time God is in charge or has a say in the matter is if we pray and release Him to move on our behalf, He gave us this planet to do with as we saw fit. And over the years things have gone from better to worse and in some places worse to better.
But God is not telling a person to behave in an evil way. He does not tell someone to go rape another or rob or steal or commit a crime.
A verse quoted some many times is the one in 11 Chon...if the people who are called by My name, humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways, I will come and heal the land. I think that pretty much says it all...

July 11.2016

As I glance over article after article from Christians all over the world, I cant help but laugh. Some prophets say, I am dreaming of Trump, that means that we should all vote for him, He is God chosen man. Then another few articles down the line, Hilary is our next president, God says to vote for her. These are well meaning Christians, who love the Lord, and feel they have heard from the Lord.
So....
who has really heard Gods voice. Who really is so in -tune and close to the Lord, that he really knows, God heart in this matter? It cant be both. Who has heard the truth?

I personally have not sought the Lord on who to vote for. I have not spent time fasting and praying and seeking God for the one who would be the best for this country.
But just from reading and listening I could not vote for either one.

I feel, with the wisdom God has given me, that we should write in one that was in the running The one who has the best intentions for this country. The one who God would chose for this country.

Why does it have to be Hilary or Trump?
Honestly, are either one good for this country?
I mean ,put aside all the prophets, teachers, and preachers words and think about it. Stop looking at either one and look to God's heart and His choice.

Blessings this election season.'
