DAY 9
Wisdom of knowing

God is in control or is He?

Some say God is in control of everything that goes on around this world. Even the woman who is raped or the man who is killed or the child who is stolen for sex trade. He is in-charge of all the good, bad and ugly. He controls all we do? He makes the flowers bloom and the grass grow. He is the creator of all intentions--good or evil. He makes the new born well or sick, he picks the ones who should have down syndrome and those who are healthy.

This is a very controversial issue and a lot of opinions out there.
Lets look at the Word of God and through in=since this is my article--my thoughts on this subject.

A seriers of events happened, an arch angel who served God, decided he wanted the attention God was getting and thought he was better than God, so because of his pride was thrown from Heaven. In Genesis 3 the story starts to unfold: the serpent (satan) saw Eve in the garden one day and approached her. Didn't Creator tell you, you  couldn't eat from every tree in the garden. The women said, we can eat from all but the one in the middle. Well the serpent manipulated the words and coerced the women Eve into eating of that forbidden tree and sharing it with her husband. Then the eyes of both of them were opened to seeing both good and evil. God found them, had a short conversation and the Lord cursed their life (Gen. 3:14) Pain was released in what they do, as well as toil, hardships and  sweat. One of the things said to the serpent was "I will put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed, He shall bruise you on the head, and you shall bruise him on the heel", in other words, warfare between the generations. Of course there is a lot more to this section of scripture but this is an over view.
God said, 'They have become like Us, knowing good and evil, which means evil existed before this event, lest he stretch out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat and live forever, they were removed from the garden forever. This was the start of the relationship between man and the serpent, The serpent, how he got into the garden in the first place, I do not know, along with Adam and Eve were removed from the garden.
They had two children. One day, the Lord said to Cain, Why are you angry?  Why has your countenance fallen, If you do well, will not your countenance be lifted up? If you do not do well, sin, is crouching at the door and its desire is for you, but you must master it."
Here God was telling Cain, you are in-charge of whether you sin or not. You are in charge of the good or bad that you do the choice you make, Not God, You.

The only time God is in charge or has a say in the matter is if we pray and release Him to move on our behalf, He gave us this planet to do with as we saw fit. And over the years things have gone from better to worse and in some places worse to better.
But God is not telling a person to behave in an evil way. He does not tell someone to go rape another or rob or steal or commit a crime.
A verse quoted some many times is the one in 11 Chon...if the people who are called by My name, humble themselves and turn from their wicked ways, I will come and heal the land. I think that pretty much says it all...
